The advantages of dry ramming mass mainly include the following:

  • Good stability: Dry ramming mass do not contain any liquid binder (such as water), so the structure is stable and does not deform, which allows the high refractoriness and excellent mechanical strength.
  • Good thermal resistance: Both intermittently and continuously working mode are acceptable, reducing the linging cracks. 
  • Easy installation: The installtion speed of dry ramming is very fast, and the furnace is easy to dismantle. It saves labor and cost by conveient installation and maintenance.
  • High temperature resistance: Dry ramming mass usually have high temperature resistance, can remain stable in high temperature environments, and are suitable for various high-temperature smelting processes.

  • Used as the working lining for melting ferrous (iron, steel) and non-ferrous (aluminum, copper, brass) metals
  • Provides direct contact protection against molten metal (1400-1700°C)
  • Furnace Bottom Construction:
  • Forms durable base layers resistant to metal penetration
  • Withstands mechanical impact during charging

2. Channel Induction Furnaces

  • Inductor Lining:
  • Creates precision linings for molten metal channels
